Students achievement

I am incredibly proud of my undergraduate student, Diego Hernandez, who, under my guidance, wrote and presented a research paper that was awarded the Best Paper by a TAMIU Undergraduate Student at the 28th Annual Western Hemispheric Trade Conference in April 2024. It is a testament to Diego's hard work, dedication, and the quality of his research, and I am honored to have been able to mentor him through this achievement.

I am thrilled to share that one of my outstanding doctoral students and coauthors, Xinhui, has reached a significant milestone in his academic career by assuming the role of Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Maine starting in January 2024. Xinhui is a remarkably productive and talented scholar who maintains a prolific publication record

I am delighted to share that Patrick has secured a position as Assistant Professor of Finance at Metropolitan State University. As his dissertation chair, I have had the privilege of witnessing his remarkable progress and growth throughout his doctoral studies. This success highlights the fulfilling nature of mentoring students and the profound impact it can have on their professional trajectories.
